Mum And I

Uhhhhh ahhhhh. I got out of bed. I said “Good morning, Mum.” “Good, morning,” she said.

“Come on. We are going.”

“Nearly done,” I said. I ran down the steps like an iceblock going full speed. I got in the car.

We were at Tairua. It was like a two hour drive to get there.

We were finally there. I jumped out of the car.We had a little water slide with so many bubbles. The bubbles were big.

Three weeks later, Mum and I packed up all of our stuff and jumped in the car and went home.

Little Red Riding Hood

We have been learning to use a present participle in our writing.
Wandering down the dusty path, Little Red Riding Hood walked to her Grandma’s house. She ran into The Big Wolf. 
He said,“Where are you going?” 
"I'm going to my Grandma's house."
"Where?" said The Wolf.
"At the end of the forest," she said with a big smile.

The Wolf got inside Little Red Riding Hood's Grandma's house. Little Red Riding Hood knocked on the door. “Come in,” said The Wolf.
"Hello, Grandma."
"Hello, my dear." 
“I brought some cookies,” said Little Red Riding Hood.
“I want to eat you all up,” said The Wolf.
“Ahhhhhhhh,” said Little Red Riding Hood, then The Wood Cutter came and shot the wolf.
