The Birthday Of The Church

The Church is the people who spread the Good News about Jesus.

The followers of Jesus were hiding in a room. They were scared until they saw flames on their heads.

They weren't scared anymore. They went out to spread the Good News. This was called Pentecost. 
It was the birth of the Church.

MUM AND ME

Mum parked her black car at the Warehouse.
We went in to find a TV. We searched but there was no TV so we got back in the car and drove quickly to another Warehouse. 
Next, we had lunch with my Dad. 
After that, we drove to another Warehouse. Mum asked one of the people who worked there, "Do you have a TV that we can buy?" 
They said, "Sorry, we don't." 
Mum and I went back to the car. We drove to the last Warehouse. We went into Harvey Norman's. The Warehouse was just upstairs. We looked at the TVs. There were small TVs and big TVs, but they were so much money. We went up the escalator. 
Mum asked the people who worked there, "Do you have a TV we can buy?"    
They said, "Sorry, we don't." 
Mum said, "I rang and someone picked up and said we could have a display model." 
They said, "That lady is at the hospital. Someone broke his leg." 
The lady who Mum rang came in when we didn't notice. She said, "Let's get you a TV."
We went to the display. She unplugged it and brought it to the counter. Mum paid for it and carried it to the car then we got back in the car and drove.
I said "You're the best Mum in the world." 

The Zoo

We piled into the car and rushed to the zoo. We rushed to the Red Panda. "Soo cute!” I said.

On Tuesday, we were at the zoo. My class came and some parents. We went to the zoo to investigate if the zoo was a good place for animals.

The Red Panda was as cool as a real Panda. Red Pandas climb very well. “Finally, I got to see the Red Panda,” I said.

A Little Kitten

Ring! ring! My Mum’s phone rang. it was my Dad. “There's a kitten in my office. Come quick!”

We rushed to Dad's work.

We got out of the car and walked up to Dad. “Where's the kitten? How cute is it?” The kitten was hiding with the number plates. Dad had to put all the number plates somewhere else so he could get the kitten out.

I got to hold it. I said, “The kitten is so cute!”

The kitten was scared. It was shaking. Its fur was as soft as wool.

We put it in a cage. Mum put her jacket in there so the kitten would be supersoft then a lady came walking by. She came in. She told us she had been feeding the kitten for two days. We went to my friend’s house. She asked her Mum, “Can we keep the kitten?”

Her mum said no.

The kitten peed on my mum’s jacket. It was really funny.

We went to the SPCA to give them the kitten so it could have a loving home.

Some time later, we went to the car. TlittKhe kitten was at the SPCA, safe with all the other kittens and we went back home.

Who St Patrick was and what he liked doing and what he didn't like doing
 - where he was born - what his family was like
He liked walking on the beach. He liked whittling his slingshot.
He hated school.
One day,
- didn't go to school
- went to the beach
- pirates came
- stole him and the other girls and boys
- sold him in Ireland to Milchu
- was a shepherd - looked after sheep and pigs (swine)
- started talked to God - trusted God and was happy
- One night, heard God talking to him - told him to go the a ship
- when he was on board, - big storm - ship grounded in France
- crew starving
- Patrick asked God for help
- God sent him pigs and an apple tree- ate pork dinner and apple sauce

St Patricks real name is Patrick Mc Alpern. He was born somewhere in Britain. He didn't like school it was like a worm in his apple that's how much he didn't like school. When his mum said are you doing your homework he will just lay in his bed and say yes I'm nearly done. In sted of walking to school he went to the beach, he picked up tiny stones. When he was at the beach he was frozen he saw a black pirate ship they stole Patrick and all the over boys and girls in the village. The pirates sale Patrick to Ireland he was a shepherd he had to look after the sheep's and swine's. He had a dream and a voice said to him fast and pray when he woke up then he fasted and prayed he trusted God. Then he had a another dream he heard the same voice the voice said your ship is ready go the your ship he woke in the mid night he ran on the shore he saw a ship nearly leaving he got on the ship. The pirates liked Patrick on with them he talked about God a lot the pirates didn't care that much when a big storm came the ship smashed in to France the crew was starving "Where is your God Patrick dosnet he know that we are starving" said a pirate the Patrick prayed to God for help "Please God can you give us food can you make it quick so they will believe in you." Then wild pigs came out running to them and there was apples on a tree for dinner they had pork chops and apple sauce. Then he was a Priest, Bishop then a St

Swimming Day

Splash! All the freezing cold water went on me! Ashley was speaking. "Everyone steal a board." We got a board, waiting very quietly. "Now use your boards for backstroke." We all got to the other side, waiting for another lesson. The pool looked kind of small. "Ok, you did very well. Now, time for backstroke with no board." Everyone did it very well. The pool sounded like everyone splashing. It was burning hot at the pools. Ashley threw toys in the freezing cool water. She threw them like darts! We all got one each, then we got dressed, faster than Flash! We sped back to school, all dried and tired, and waited to go home.
